ZERO 1957-1966

NY 2008
Last copies

This opulently illustrated catalogue offers a unique English compendium to the Dusseldorf-based Zero movement, which went on to attract an international cadre of collaborators and affiliates including Nanda Vigo, Yayoi Kusama, Yves Klein, Jean Tinguely, Tsuruko Yamazaki, Arman, and many others. Its history is traced from its immediate beginnings in 1957 to its dissolution in 1966, only one year after New York's Museum of Modern Art exhibited 'The Responsive Eye', in which many artists of the Zero avant-garde took part. Published on the occasion of the exhibition 'Zero in New York' at Sperone Westwater, NY.
