Fernando García // 138 Aquarellos

SINULLA EI OLE HUOLEHTIMISEN AIHETTA, KAIKKI ON SELVA means, in Finnish, “No worries, everything’s sorted”. The Spanish artist Fernando García (*1975) relates the Finnish alphabet to us like all language learners: intuitively, at times haltingly and with his own ‘accent’ intact. The booklet is the result of Fernando García’s stay in Jyväskylä, Finald: 138 watercolors, which constitute a sort of visual diary influenced by Gummerus, a Finnish/Spanish dictionary.
