Offprint London is an art publishing fair, with a focus on photobooks, taking place in Tate Modern’s Turbine Hall to coincide with Photo London. Approximately 150 artists, independent and self-publishers will take part.

A pioneer of Polaroid photography and one of the central figures of European performance art since the 1970s, Ulay (Uwe Frank Lausiepen) discusses his practice, spanning more than four decades. This talk marks the publication of Whispers: Ulay on Ulay (Valiz, 2014).
How does public life encourage thinking, action, and imagination, and how can public life be fostered and built up? How might culture actualize the people and public life? In what ways might we respond to and understand powerlessness and questions of the political voice? How might cultural work help us discover our existing power?
Publishing Clearing House was an four-month long initiative by the group Temporary Services (Chicago/Copenhagen). They made a temporary, fully functioning print shop in the context of “A Proximity of Consciousness: Art & Social Action,” a group exhibition, that looked at the historical context for socially engaged art in the city going back to the late 1800s.
Friends with Books is a non-profit organization founded in 2014 offering greater visibility to contemporary artists' books and art publications, including an annual art book fair, public programming, and partnerships with art organizations and institutions, facilitating the engagement of diverse audiences with the books of artists and art publishers worldwide.
