“Wandering monks”, “men in cloaks” and “fast women, beautiful cars” are the characters in Philipp Morlock’s (*1974) latest catalogue. The sculptures look like carriages: metal and lacquer, sheet iron, wire and wood forms on wheels. They stand for criminals like Al Capone or the famous German outlaw Schinderhannes. In this idiosyncratic portrait gallery political figures such as Benno Ohnesorg and Karl Heinz Kurras are also to be found.
