I Absolutely Forbade All Public Photographs of Myself
Jacques Derrida had many thoughts about his image and the role of the portrait in a philosopher's career, its role in the public eye. This he detailed in an interview which is reproduced in this artist book by Yannick Bouillis. As the bottom of each page reads the continuation of the interview, the illustrations throughout the book show portraits of the philosopher throughout, in various poses.
