Documenta 14 Special
This is the diary of a curious, unsettled Athenian. The daily register of a bewildered documenta employee. The notes of an overworked art enthusiast. This is a memoir—a documentary—an anecdote—a flashback. A dissonant guide to a so-called "hot" city and its residents, as they encountered or reacted to a major art event. And a lingering question: What space is left—for art in capitalism—to hold on to a different, radical present?
All photos and quotes presented in this book were found and collected from documenta 14 press material, exhibition reviews, online blogs, social media, and the streets of Athens and Kassel.
